    Hog Lights, Feeder Lights
In order to build a feeder light you will need to possess a few simple mechanical skills. You will need to know how to solder electric wiring, use heat shrink tubing, operate a hot glue gun, use a cordless drill and put together threaded fittings for a water-tight seal.

There are a couple of different types of hog hunting light you can build. Color choices are white and red lights.

And you have the choice between spot and flood lights.

Typically you will use a flood light lense to hunt closer to your feeder. The flood lights will cover more area around your feeder by spreading the light out. Spot light lenses will let you set the light a little further from the feeder. And depending on the number of LED's you use in your hog lights they will be brighter or darker.

Tools And Materials You Need For Your Hog Lights

Hog Hunting, Boar Hunting Pictures Before you get started building your new feeder light you want to make sure you have tools you are going to need.

Cordless Drill, Phillips Screw driver, flat head screw driver, hot glue gun, wire cutters, wire strippers, pliers, super glue, soldering iron, solder with flux for electric soldering, heat gun (lighter), shrink wrap tubing for electric wires, teflon threaded tape.

Once you have these things together you're going to need a good solid work space. A kitchen table, or a work bench in the garage will work just fine.

You need to get your soldering iron set up and your hot glue gun in a place you can use it.

It will be a little while before you use them, but you won't want to wait for them to heat up when you do.
